Universities Catholic Chaplaincy

About Us

The Archdiocese of Southwark Universities Catholic Chaplaincy Team works in collaboration with the universities and their multi-faith chaplaincies in the Archdiocese of Southwark.  Whilst being present for all students and staff, we also want to serve the needs of the Catholic students and staff within the institutions in which we serve.  There are Catholic Chaplains at Goldsmiths, Kings College  - Guy's Campus, Kent at Canterbury, Kingston, London South Bank and Roehampton Universities.  The Chaplain for the University of Greenwich is awaiting appointment.

God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for naught. I shall do good; I shall do His work....
— Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman
